Our Classic Assam Tea features CTC tea from Halmari Tea Estate which is the No.1 Tea  Garden in Assam and India. It boasts of being ranked in the Top 10 tea gardens of the world.

Their CTC tea won the top award at the Global Tea Championship 2017. This tea will invigorate your senses and will get your mental gears running for the rest of the day. It's briskness, malty flavour and strong, bright colour will perk you up immediately.

Tea Grade: BP

Dry Leaf: Granular, chocolatey with bloom

Aroma: Prominent  aftertaste in the mouth

Colour of Liquor: Bright full bodied cup

Flavour of the Tea: Top of the line, golden bright, full-bodied cup. Rich, creamy & smooth with depth and strength.

Compliments: Pair it with full-flavored foods, like spicy dishes and meat. Pastries also taste excellent when served with a cup of black tea alongside.

Brewing Instructions: Always use fresh water. Bring water to boil. Take one teaspoon of tea in a cup. Pour the heated water and steep the tea for 4-5 mins.  Adjust the time of brewing as per desired strength.

Tea Master Recommendation: Best enjoyed with milk and sugar.  Can add fresh Basil (Tulsi), Cardamom, Fresh Ginger, Clove to taste. Always use fresh water. Do not use re-boiled water. Can also be made on the gas stove. Always use a stainless steel container and not an aluminium one to make tea on the gas stove. Enjoy it hot.
